scenic landscape along the southern border of Virginia.
Located in North Carolina’s northeastern Piedmont
Triad Region, Caswell County lies 10 miles south of Danville,
VA on Highway 86. The bustling cities of Durham
and Greensboro
are also within a pleasant forty-minute drive of Caswell
County.
According to the Census 2000 Data, Caswell County, NC
is home to 23,501 residents. Just over 2,000 of those
citizens reside in the county seat of Yanceyville.
The county includes Anderson,
Dan
River, Hightowers,
Leasburg,
Locust
Hill, Milton,
Pelham,
Stoney
Creek and Yanceyville. Unincorporated towns in
Caswell County include Leasburg and Purley.
Caswell County’s close proximity to the prestigious
Research
Triangle Park and the Greensboro
metropolitan area affords ample business and career
opportunities for residents. Local entrepreneurs benefit
from prime industrial real estate, low property taxes
and a wide array of valuable resources provided by the
Caswell County Office of Economic Development. Area
businesses have easy access to an 85,000-strong labor
force, primarily consisting of highly skilled workers

fabrication and textiles. Piedmont
Community College (PCC), located in Yanceyville, NC,

This picturesque region of Caswell County, North
Carolina, characterized by gently rolling hills and an
abundance of wildlife, offers its residents an
outstanding quality of life. Local communities have
access to excellent schools, two major airports and
top-notch medical facilities. Within an hour’s drive
are two of the nation’s finest hospitals. These
include the facilities at Duke
University in Durham, NC and UNC-Chapel

Courthouse Square and numerous additional antebellum

Day House-Union Tavern in Milton, several churches
