high-speed Internet access. The county seat of Guilford
County, Greensboro is an important distribution and
transportation center for the area's manufacturing and

interstate highways along with the Piedmont
Triad International Airport, and vital rail service.
VF Corporation, RF Micro Devices, Volvo Trucks, Sygenta
Crop Protection and Jefferson Pilot Corporation are all
located here. Fed-Ex has spotlighted the area for a
major mid-Atlantic cargo hub in nearby Kearnesville,
projected for completion in 2007.
The Greensboro and Guilford
County school systems are ranked in the top 4th of
the nation. Very progressive and specialized schools are
found within the county and there are over 30 private

and the University
of North Carolina are all found within the city of
Greensboro, North Carolina.
Since it is home to more than 41,000 college
students, Greensboro's nightlife

even a 74 year old barbecue joint, there's always
